Meet The Centre Manager

My name is Thilini Kandane, and I am incredibly proud to be the Centre Manager at Elouera Early Learning, Caulfield South. With over 16 years of experience in the early childhood and education sector, I bring a deep passion for nurturing young minds and supporting families through their early learning journeys. 

My career began as a Certificate III Assistant Educator, and over the years, I’ve completed both my Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Early Years Education. Throughout my journey, I’ve worn many hats from Assistant Educator to Room Leader, Educational Leader, Centre Manager, Area Manager, and most recently, Regional Manager, where I oversaw 38 centres, supporting teams in delivering high-quality education, maintaining compliance, and fostering positive learning environments. On the personal side, my husband and I are proud (and very busy!) parents of two beautiful children. Our 14-year-old son is a keen basketball player, and our 10-year-old daughter is full of creativity and imagination.

Our family also includes two playful French Bulldogs Ace, who is 3 years old, and Alo, our newest addition, who is just 6 months old. We love travelling, movie nights, and spending quality time together as a family such as having a friday family game night with some yummy takeaway.

Joining Elouera has been a wonderful adventure — one that I am truly excited about. I have many inspiring goals and initiatives planned for the future, and I look forward to building strong, lasting relationships with our children, families, educators, and the wider community. Together, I believe we can create something truly special — a nurturing environment where children feel safe, seen, and supported, and where families feel genuinely connected and valued.
