At Elouera Early Learning, we believe the early years are too important to be ordinary. Our early learning centre in Kirrawee was founded on a simple conviction: every child deserves to be truly known. Their interests, their quirks, their way of seeing the world.

We keep our classes intentionally small so our educators can do exactly that. This isn't just a philosophy statement. It shapes how we hire, how we design our spaces, and how we plan every single day.

About Elouera Kirrawee

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all education. Children learn differently, develop at their own pace, and bring unique strengths to the room. Our role is to meet each child where they are and give them the tools, the confidence, and the joy to keep going.

  • Play is Learning
Children learn through doing, exploring, and playing. Not sitting
still and being told. We design experiences that spark curiosity and let children lead their own discovery.

  • Nature is the Classroom
Time outdoors isn't a break from learning. It's where some of the richest development happens. Nature is part of our curriculum, not an afterthought.

  • Relationships First
Strong, consistent relationships with educators are the
foundation of children's wellbeing. When a child feels safe and seen, everything else follows.

  • Families are Partners
You are the expert on your child. We work alongside you, not
instead of you, sharing what we notice, what's working, and where your child is heading next.

  • Quality Over Size
We've chosen to stay small on purpose. Quality of care doesn't
scale the same way numbers do, and we're not willing to compromise on it.

Our Philosophy

  • Small Classes, Individual Focus
Our class sizes are kept small by design, not circumstance. Every educator knows every child by name, personality, and learning
style. Your child won't blend into the background here

  • Specialised School Readiness
Our school readiness program is a dedicated, structured program that prepares children for the demands and excitement of school.

Beyond letters and numbers, we focus on confidence, self-regulation,
communication, and the social skills that make school feel manageable.

  • Spaces Designed for Wonder
Our indoor and outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully designed to inspire, not just contain. Natural light, intentional learning zones, and beautiful environments that children actually want to spend time in.

  • Inclusive and Culturally Safe
We welcome families from every background, culture, and walk of life. Inclusive, culturally safe practices are embedded into how
we teach, how we communicate, and how we celebrate together. Every family belongs here.

  • All-Day Nutritious Menu
Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. All freshly prepared, all nutritious, all included. No packed lunchboxes, no stress.

  • Genuinely All-Inclusive Fees
Our fees cover everything: incursions, hats, nappies, sunscreen, and bed sheets. No surprise bills at the end of the month. What you see
    is what you pay.

What Makes Elouera Different

Our educators hold Diplomas and Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education and are genuinely passionate about their work. We invest significantly in professional development to ensure our team remains current with best practices.

Our Centre Manager is actively involved, collaborating closely with educators and families daily. This supportive leadership means our team feels valued and encouraged - and when our educators flourish, your children flourish too.

Our Educators

Our Gallery

At Elouera Kirrawee, our values guide everything we do - from how we interact with children and families to how we design our programs and environments.

Our Core Values

Respect

We respect children as capable, competent learners with their own ideas, interests, and ways of understanding the world. We respect families as children's first teachers and value the knowledge, cultures, and perspectives you bring. We respect our educators as professionals and create a supportive environment where they can thrive.

We create a strong sense of community and belonging. Families know each other, educators remember details about your life, and everyone feels part of the Elouera family. We celebrate diversity and create opportunities for families to come together and connect.

Community

We provide a warm, caring environment where every child feels safe, secure, and valued. We nurture children's natural curiosity, creativity, and love of learning. We nurture strong relationships between children, educators, and families that form the foundation for growth and development.

Nurture

We're committed to providing exceptional early childhood education. We follow the Early Years Learning Framework, maintain high educator-to-child ratios, invest in professional development, and continuously reflect on and improve our practice.

Excellence

We believe in being genuine in all our interactions. Our care is authentic - not institutional. Our communication is honest and transparent. Our approach to learning follows children's real interests and questions, not predetermined templates.

Authenticity

We believe childhood should be joyful. Our days are filled with laughter, wonder, discovery, and play. We celebrate successes, embrace messy play, and create an environment where children love to learn.

Joy

Our Curriculum & Programs

Play-Based Learning

We believe children learn best through play - through hands-on exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and following their natural curiosity. Our educators create rich learning environments where children's interests drive the curriculum.

We observe what captivates each child and extend their learning through carefully planned experiences that are both fun and educational, supporting development across all areas:

  • Identity and belonging

  • Connection with community

  • Wellbeing

  • Learning and thinking

  • Communication

One of our key differentiators is our strong emphasis on nature-based play and outdoor learning . Our beautiful outdoor spaces include mud kitchens, water play areas, playground equipment, and garden areas where children grow vegetables and herbs.

Children spend significant time outdoors each day, rain or shine, exploring, creating, and learning through hands-on experiences with natural materials. This connection with nature is essential for development and creates a foundation for environmental stewardship.

Nature-Based Learning

Programs for Each Age Group

Infant Program
Focus on secure attachments, sensory exploration, individual routines, early communication, and physical development through tummy time, crawling, and first steps.

Toddler Program
Emphasis on language development, growing independence, social play, creative expression through art and music, and physical challenges that build confidence.

Preschool/Kindergarten Program
School readiness through early literacy (letter recognition, phonics, storytelling, name writing), numeracy (counting, sorting, patterns, problem-solving), project-based learning, and social-emotional development.

We take school readiness seriously, but we know it's about much more than academic skills. We weave early literacy and numeracy into everyday experiences - children count natural materials outdoors, recognise patterns in play, create their own books, and engage with letters and numbers through cooking and games.

Just as importantly, we focus on the dispositions that set children up for lifelong learning: problem-solving, perseverance, resilience, curiosity, and social-emotional intelligence.

School Readiness

We create individual learning portfolios for each child, capturing their development through learning stories, observations, and photos accessible via our online portal. We provide regular updates and hold parent-educator meetings to discuss your child's progress.

Family involvement is central to our approach through regular events, opportunities to share your culture and interests, and open communication through daily updates and personal handovers.

Documentation & Family Partnership

At Elouera Caulfield South, we follow a play-based curriculum grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) , Australia's national framework for early childhood education.

Walk through our doors and you'll notice it immediately: this space was built for children, not just approved for them. Every corner of Elouera Kirrawee has been designed to invite exploration, encourage creativity, and support the full range of how children learn and grow.

Our Learning Environments

Our classrooms are flooded with natural light and divided into purposeful learning zones that children can move between freely. You'll find:

  • Art & Creativity Corners
Dedicated painting, drawing, collage, and open-ended creative materials where imagination leads the way.

  • Story & Reading Spaces
Cosy reading nooks with a curated collection of books for
every age and interest, because a love of stories starts early.

  • Construction & STEM Areas
Blocks, loose parts, and building materials that
challenge children to plan, experiment, and problem-solve.

  • Dramatic Play Zones
Home corners, dress-ups, and imaginative play props that
support language, social development, and emotional intelligence.

  • Potty Training Areas
Dedicated, child-friendly spaces that support toilet training
    with dignity and confidence

Indoor Spaces

Our program is built around the Early Years Learning Framework and delivered through intentional, play-based experiences. It's not a schedule of activities. It's a living, breathing curriculum that responds to the children in the room.

  • Outdoor Adventure Spaces
Our natural playgrounds feature sandpits, climbing structures, bike tracks, and garden areas. Children develop gross motor skills, resilience, and a genuine love for being outside.

  • Music & Movement Program
Daily singing, dancing, rhythm games, and movement activities support coordination, confidence, and self-expression in ways no worksheet ever could.

  • STEM & Discovery
Hands-on investigations into science, maths, engineering, and technology, designed to build early problem-solving instincts and a genuine love of figuring things out.

  • Cultural Celebrations
We celebrate the cultures, traditions, and stories that our families bring with them. Cultural events, multilingual resources, and diverse representation are woven into everyday life. Not saved for special occasions.

  • Sustainability Focus
Recycling, composting, growing food, and caring for living things. Children develop a genuine sense of responsibility for the world around them.
